August Wins

August Wins

August was amazing, our best month yet.

A great mix of new products, existing customers reordering, and a growing following.

Big shout-out to Micky, who bought four for her and her friends, and Alex, who's now picked up three. Ed, Hol, Allan, Mush, and Marcus also made repeat purchases and gave amazing feedback. I appreciate you all!

While training for this ultra in October isn’t exactly going to plan, the growth is. This is all thanks to strong interactions and repeat orders from our core customer base, alongside a 33% increase in followers. All of them have been super engaged and interested in what we’re building.

Being able to speak to new followers, get to know them, and tell them a bit about the brand really helps to build trust.

To state the obvious, having an alternative product and a bundle option also helps. Who knew having just one product to sell would have its issues?

We’ve also switched to new packaging, which is biodegradable and made in the UK. Simplelifeco are fantastic! Find them here https://simplelifeco.uk/

The cadence of posting is also something I think a lot about. I’ve trialed posting with frequency (sometimes at the cost of quality), and that's been a net negative experience—less engagement, more fatigue, and less fun. With that in mind, moving forward, it will be quality videos over quantity, with more pictures of you repping Pastel in the wild.

What's Coming Up?

I’ve spent the last few days assessing the strategy for this month and have come to the conclusion that it’s essential to keep maintaining proactive engagement. As always, please do tell any friends and share the page with people who will be interested.

There are two weeks until we have a new color of our performance cap landing, so it would be fantastic to have 1,500 followers by that point who are interested in our next item.

Latte Lid has been out for two weeks also. I’ve been approaching local coffee shops to get them stocked as a fun bit of functional merch for keen cafe dwellers to buy, which I think will be an alternative angle to the usual outdoor stompers.

Before we know it, Christmas will be here, so let’s enjoy the embers of summer and keep getting out and about.

Much love,

Bibs
